Trailer mounted rail platform
This rail platform has been developed in cooperation with Dura Vermeer, Warmerdam Hoogwerksystemen, Koerts Techniek and Eurosupply Hoogwerksystemen – Moerdijk.

The starting-point was the problem with working on overhead power lines on railways, the use of the well known reform ladder has been criticized for years now, since ladders are not allowed to be used for work at height.
The mobility of the existing machines ,used for maintenance and repair of  overhead power lines, is very poor, these are mostly modified excavators equipped with a work platform and railway wheels, the transport requires heavy low-loaders and is very costly.
Consequently an Ultralight mobile work platform has been developed, easy to be towed by a service-van (it’s total weight is only 1.500 kg)
A big advantage is the response time  and the low cost involved for emergency repair, inspection and maintenance of overhead power lines at European railways.

The machine has been used several times now and the servicemen involved are very positive about the easy way to handle and the speed of the Eurorailer.

Some technical details:
Working height 10,00 meter, lateral outreach 3,50 meter, platform capacity 120 kg,
weight 1.500 kg, Kubota diesel engine, track speed (transport) 15 km/h, track speed (elevated) 3 km/h.

Of course this machine has been approved by HCC-DRS, the experts on rail-infra equipment, and is the machine equipped with a licence plate for road transport.

As an extra the Eurorailer is executed with ‘tooltrays’’ and  the needed work lights for work at nights.
